Tariff Charges for The Green and Elizabeth Harvey Field 2024-25

Effective 1st April 2024

Events:       £600 per day, with a £500 deposit for damage

(large events occupying the whole Green, with the exception of the cricket area)

Smaller events using only a small area of the Green will be charged at a rate decided by the Council depending on the size of the event.

Charities:   The fee for charitable/educational and not for profit events may be waived subject to application for use and approval with full details of the organisation.

Activity Classes:        £80 per year.

Football:                     £150 per season.

Season license allows for one game or training session per week. For U11 clubs or younger teams only.

Applications must be made in writing 1 month in advance of any requested use to Bearsted Parish Council. If approval is granted payment of the charge must be paid 14 days in advance of the event.

It is the responsibility of all users to make sure that all rubbish is removed.

All relevant insurance must be supplied and up to date at the time of use.

Licenses may be required to be applied for which will be the responsibility of the event organiser.

By laws of the Green are in place and are available on the noticeboard at the Green which include rules in respect of alcohol and fireworks. These bylaws must be adhered to at all times.
