Result of by-election – 7th July 2022
/in News /by Erin SugdenMaidstone Borough Council Electoral Service has informed Bearsted Parish Council of the result of the by-election that took place on the 7th July 2022.
Mr David Hall received the majority votes and has been elected a Parish Councillor.
Project A Public Meeting – 27th July 2022
/in News /by Deputy ClerkProject A was created with the aim to improve, advance, and facilitate leisure activities for a substantial number of residents living within the Parish of Bearsted. Bearsted Parish Council hold health and well-being in high regard which is detailed within the Mission Statement of the Council .
The Project A working group met on Monday 13th June 2022 and has now set a date for a public meeting. The date of this meeting is Wednesday the 27th July 2022 at 7.30pm at Madginford Hall.
If you have any questions relating to Project A that you would like answered by the Project A working Group or the Ecology expert, please can these be sent in advance to projecta@bearstedparishcouncil.gov.uk. We will endeavour to answer questions raised with full facts and information. There will also be an opportunity to ask further questions on the evening.

By Election – 7th July 2022

Bearsted Parish Council would like to inform you that there is a by-election taking place on Thursday 7th July 2022 for the position of Parish Councillor.
There are two candidates for the position of Parish Councillor and these are:
Mr Richard CAMP
Mr David HALL
If you are a registered voter you will be entitled to cast your vote at your usual polling station. Please visit the polling station you visited in May which will have been either:
Madginford Hall, Egremont Road
Memorial Hall, Manor Rise
WI Hall, The Street
Each of the polling stations will be open from 7.00 am until 10.00 pm. Please note on this occasion you will not receive or need a polling card to vote at the polling station.
