I have lived in Bearsted since 2021, and have long associations with the village, having ridden and walked through the lanes and surrounding countryside with various horses and dogs over the years. I particularly appreciate the way Bearsted has a traditional aesthetic without being stuck in the past and enjoy the strong sense of community.

Having practised in Kent as a barrister for many years, I am now a Director of a national mediation company, helping people resolve disputes in a more user-friendly way.

I have joined the parish council with a desire to help preserve all that is good and valued about the village, whilst working with residents in moving with the times towards healthy growth that is positive and balanced, ensuring that Bearsted maintains its unique energy and character.

My husband and I moved to Bearsted in 2012 from Bromley and we fell in love with the village immediately. We have since had two children who attend the village schools and they thoroughly enjoy it.

I’ve made many friends in the village and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

I was Secretary at my children’s school PTA for 3 years to help raise much needed funds by organising events for parents and children who attend the school. I loved the interaction with all the parents/children and found it very rewarding when we did the events that were fun for all the families.

I’m a company Director for my Fathers family business and would like to use some of my skills as a Parish Councillor to help our wonderful community in any way I can.

My family and I moved to Bearsted in 2012 from Edinburgh. My wife works with the
leadership team at NHS Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, and our two children attend local
schools.
I run my own business in the food industry, where I combine my expertise as both a chef
and entrepreneur. As a professional chef, I had the honour of winning the International
Indian Chef of the Year Award, reflecting my passion for cooking and commitment to
delivering authentic, high-quality cuisine. Throughout my catering career, I have also had
the privilege of serving royals, prime ministers, and numerous celebrities.
I am a strong supporter of the local community and enjoy tending to my allotment. It’s a
great way to grow my own food while also meeting wonderful people in the area.
In my spare time, I love listening to music, playing golf, and spending quality time with my
family. I also enjoy outdoor walks, whether exploring the countryside or working on my golf
game.

I have a professional background in financial services and a strong personal commitment to our local community. My wife works in social housing and actively supports local initiatives, and together we’re passionate about making Bearsted an even better place to live.

We have three children—twin boys who will be attending Roseacre Junior School and a daughter moving on to Valley Park—so I’m particularly invested in the future of local education and family life in the parish.

Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and cyclist. I recently completed the Zurich Marathon and am now training for the London Marathon, aiming to beat my personal best. I believe in the values of consistency, planning, and showing up—principles I will bring to my role on the council.

I’m committed to listening to residents and supporting practical, inclusive improvements that benefit everyone in our community.

I have lived in Bearsted for 40 years and am proud to call it home. I attended Thurnham and Roseacre schools, just as my two children do.

As a local business owner with a nearby salon and a recently launched events management company, I am passionate about supporting and contributing to our wonderful community.

You’ll often find me walking my dogs around the village or taking part in local events.

Having spent most of my life here, I take great pride in being an active member of the Bearsted community and look forward to supporting the village and its residents through my work with the Parish Council.
