Digging for Giving – Church Lane Allotment

Bearsted Parish Council have recently provided a plot at Church Landway Allotment site, at a peppercorn rent. This is for a new initiative called Digging for Giving. Volunteers are cultivating the plot, and all produce grown will be donated to local food banks, and other charitable organisations.
If there are any businesses or individuals who would like help, the group would welcome any donations of seeds, compost etc, or unwanted garden tools.
If you are involved in a food bank or any similar organisation that distributes food to those in need, please register your interest. Please contact Tony at diggingforgiving@gmail.com
