Playscheme 2024
Playscheme 2024 – Save the date!
This year’s Summer Playscheme will be held at Roseacre Junior School:
Week 1: 24th– 26th July (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only)
Reduced week due to teacher training days taking place at the school on Monday and Tuesday
Week 2: 29th July- 2nd Aug (Monday-Friday)
Tickets will go on sales later in the year. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for more information.
Church Landway – Notice of Closure
The Church Landway will be closed temporarily the week commencing 19th February whilst work is undertaken to replace the broken light bollards. Details of the closure are attached.

275 Years of Bearsted Cricket Club
Bearsted Cricket Club will be celebrating their 275 year anniversary this year!!
They have been working hard to arrange a number of exciting events to celebrate this important landmark.

Bearsted Shopper Bus
The Shopper bus is here to help residents travel to the doctors, go shopping and be able to get out and about, after the main bus routes were withdrawn from Bearsted to Maidstone.
Please see the timetable for the Bearsted – Maidstone Shopper bus service running Monday to Friday.
A Christmas message from Chairman Cllr David Hall
It occurred to me at the recent Mynn awards ceremony how many fantastic people help to make Bearsted the community it is. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers – the work you do is hugely appreciated. Thank you also to my fellow Councillors and brilliant office team, Jo, Amy and Lauren who have helped the Parish Council during a challenging but ultimately rewarding year.
