/in News /by Deputy ClerkBearsted and Detling Parish Councils successfully bid for funding from the Community Transport Fund which will fund a bus service to both villages, initially for two years. The service will commence on Monday 5th June.
For Bearsted residents, there will be a twice daily service to and from Cross Keys and Bearsted Green to Grove Green Tesco, Eclipse Park and Maidstone on Monday to Friday.
Senior bus passes are valid at all times.

Please check before you travel from Cross Keys in the first week of the service as KCC is undertaking resurfacing work in The Street and Roundwell.
Reporting anti-social behaviour on our rail network
