Community Bus Service – Temporary Bus Timetable
Unfortunately due to the extended road works on Ware Street, the temporary timetable will remain in place until further notice.
We have been given a provisional date of the 16th September for the works to finish but will update this once it has been confirmed.

Bearsted Parish Council are pleased to announce the return of the Old Time Music Show.
We will be welcoming back the players club on the 14th October 2023.
This is a free music event for residents of Bearsted, with tickets prioritised to those over 60.
A complimentary bus service will be available from Madginford shops to the WI Hall. Please inform us when booking tickets that you need this transportation.

Consultation Results – Parking Restrictions
Following concerns from residents regarding parking in Cavendish Way, Copsewood Way, Shirley Way and the top of Yeoman Way/Button Lane. Bearsted Parish Council sought advice from Maidstone Borough Council Parking Services.
MBC suggested introducing parking restrictions and double yellow lines at the corners. A consultation was sent to residents in the area.

Survey results - Restricted ParkingAnnual Mynn Awards
Bearsted Parish Council look forward to running the annual Mynn awards during the meeting of Full Council in November. The awards celebrate outstanding contributions made by our residents within the community.
For 2023 the two categories are: Service to the community and Local Volunteers. We look forward to receiving nominations and welcome these by email to: mynnawards@bearstedparishcouncil.gov.uk
Closing date for receiving nominations is Monday 16th October.

Premises Licence for the Elizabeth Harvie Field
Bearsted Parish Council have applied for a Premises Licence for the Elizabeth Harvie Field. The following notice has been displayed around the field to provide details to residents.
This application has been made to facilitate our annual Fireworks event, which we plan to hold on the 3rd November 2023.
There are NO other events planned for this location.
