Church Landway Public Notice

Bearsted Parish Council would like to give residents advanced notice that the Church Landway will be closed for vehicular access on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd of this week, reopening on Friday 24th. This is to allow resurfacing works to conclude and for the bonding on the surface to set.
The Council wish to thank all residents for being so patient during these works.

/in News /by Sarah LewisPlease be aware that whilst the Church Landway resurfacing is underway, public right of way is limited and as such the footpath at this area is closed. The Contractors have tried to allow room for pedestrians who need access to pass, however we would ask that care is taken when doing so.

Bearsted Market on the Green Announcement
/in News /by Sarah LewisBearsted Parish Council has decided to postpone Bearsted Market on the Green until a Market Manager has been appointed. This will also allow time for the appropriate licence to be obtained from Maidstone Borough Council in order for this event to remain free entry. A further announcement will be made in due course.
