SHOPPER BUS NEWS

The Parish Council has been informed by Compaid, the operator of the Bearsted and Detling shopper bus that it can no longer operate the service.

Very sadly, the last day of operation will be Friday 23rd October 2026.
The Parish Council is trying to source another operator but realistically, it is unlikely that one will be found that can provide an overall package similar to Compaid.

We will make a further announcement in due course.
